I did use the jpeg optimizer for faster loading, so the images do look a bit weird, sorry.

Merge all layers visible. Go to Effects-texture effects-texture and use the fur texture with these settings, S25, Sm10, Dep1, Amb-10, Sh0, Ang6, Int55, Ele30, color white. Now use the Lighten and darken tool, settings, Si25, H0, St25, Den50, Op50. Left mouse button for lighten and right mouse button for darken. Save!
We are going to use the eraser tool now. Before you do, you must zoom in a few times, so you can see what you are doing. Erase like waves with these settings.
This is how I did it.
Now duplicate the layer and add a gaussian blur of 2, set the layer blend mode to darken. Merge the layers visible. This is what we have now. Save!
Add a new Vector Layer foreground color #3E6646 and background color #518B63, use the preset shape circle and draw an oval. Edit the nodes as shown and convert to raster. Save!
Now use the lighten and darken tool same settings as before, to do some shading on the leaf. When done, duplicate the layer 2 times and arrange them, merge the 3 leaf layers, and duplicate it, again resize and rotate them. Merge the leaf layers again. Save!
Add a dropshadow to the flower, settings are V+H 0 Opacity 40, blur20 and color black. Resize the flower with the deform tool and save!
Add a Vector Layer use the preset shape set to circle, foreground color to null and background color to #808080. Now draw an oval and two very little circles, convert to raster. Apply an Innerbevel with these settings. Merge all layers visible and finish it anyway you like!
